Summer 2008 NHTVSN - sad thing, kid sister probably doesn't even know who this is.
Goes perfect with Parisian "design house" Maison Martin Margiela's first attempt at sunglasses: the L'Incognito.
Dear fashion, please leave Levar Burton out of your calculations, thanks.

Road trip to SF this past weekend and
with 45% less attacks of neuroses and slower judgment calls, I think I can say I've developed a fairly strong sense of character. My definition of what a "good" person is doesn't rely on their actions or the laws that men have written - it's motivation that I'm interested in.
If a person does good in fear of God or Allah or Mohammed or Santa Claus (he knows when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good..) and the holy retribution any of those characters might bring, that person's a monkey.
If a person does good in hopes that their actions may grant them eventual access to eternal bliss (be it reuniting with your dogs and relatives or a harem of virgins), that person's an even bigger monkey than the first.
Here's to those who act goodly without regard to otherworldly threats or recognition and applause; it's less about what you do when nobody's looking and more about the choices you make when you know you can get away with something scot-free. And to those of you who thought I wouldn't notice?
Gotcha.

I saw
lightning strike the ground not one mile from my house yesterday. The last couple of weeks, the only TV I've watched is playoff basketball so the rainstorm in LA's caught me by surprise. Socal doesn't see too much precipitation, but the moisture and thunderclaps are appreciated because I already know it'll be a long time coming again.
Everything from loans for housing and tuition down to internet and what shoes and speakers I'm going to bring with me, I've been as close to worried as can be without too much personal exertion in the concern department. I'll enjoy the company(s) and locales that have my love because I'm sure that before I know it, I'll be the only guy with slanted eyes around - and it'll be 115 in the shade.
Bring the rain.
